Deana Blackman
Studio Owner & Trainer

Deana started teaching fitness when she was 16 and has never stopped. At this point, she thinks it’s fair to say it’s her calling. Deana combines the science of smart movement with a focus on fun. She loves to solve puzzles and her favorite type is how someone can move better, with less pain, and with more joy. She cares as much about her clients as she cares about their movement. Many of her students have been with her for decades, and she considers them not just clients or friends, but family. Deana believes in empowering her students to create lasting change and supporting them through their journey.  She focuses on how each student’s brain uniquely responds to a movement cue, and from their response, she will tailor the exercise so it works best for them. In the initial sessions, Deana will seek out the sources of your movement struggles or pain and begin to find the quickest path to their idea of success. This approach works for any student with a brain, but she has special training and interest in working with people living with MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological illnesses and injuries.

Certifications:

  • Master Trainer in Pilates and Core Align with Balanced Body

  • Certified Pilates for neurological conditions and completed an advanced level mentorship with the co-founders of the Neuro Studio

  • Other Certifications in Power Pilates and Stott Pilates

Molly

Molly
Studio Dog

Molly is our newest teacher in training. She is working on socializing and getting treats from her clients. Molly is a bit of an introvert. In her spare time at the studio you will find her chewing on her bone or sleeping in her crate.

For anyone looking to improve their golf game, mobility, agility, flexibility, and strength, I can't recommend Rhythm & Flow highly enough. I'm 61, and hitting the golf ball further than I ever have. So exciting to see the hard work paying off!
